This film was produced as part of the IPORA program led by Bordeaux Sciences Économiques (a joint research unit of the University of Bordeaux, CNRS and INRAE).

Land under high-voltage power lines, land now under the management of an electricity company, land unsuitable for urbanization, an empty space within a major metropolis. A refuge for those expelled from Greater Abidjan, a life recreated where it shouldn’t be. Amidst the shantytowns of wood and corrugated iron for migrants, wandering mechanics seek to formalize their economic activities.
